The World Renewable Energy Foundation (WREF) is dedicated to promoting the use of renewable energy sources such as solar and wind power to provide sustainable electricity. WREF with its world-class international partners provide Design, Build, Finance Turnkey development of renewable energy projects in order to ensure access to clean and affordable energy all round the world, specifically in developing countries.
WREF also advocates for local governments to reduce their carbon footprint by investing in renewable energy sources. WREF supports the clean energy revolution by promoting wind and solar power as viable alternatives to nuclear and hydropower.
The Mission
The mission of the World Renewable Energy Foundation is to provide renewable energy to the world's most impoverished communities. We help needy communities globally on power projects in order to improve living standards, poverty reduction, economic growth, and to promote sustainable development.
